JLS Building & Property Development is built on Clint Simons’ 30-odd years in the trade, most of it as a sole trader working extensions, renovations and commercial jobs across Bedfordshire long before the company existed on paper. That’s still where the standard on site comes from, and Clint is still hands-on across every project we take on.

It’s a family business in practice, not just in name. Clint’s son Jake works alongside him, bringing his own years in construction plus the systems a one-man operation never has time for, from quoting and scheduling to a proper supplier and subcontractor list. Jared, Clint’s youngest, is learning the trade on site at the same time, already trusted with small jobs of his own.

It’s not just the three of us, though. JLS has grown into a proper team around that family core, with full-time skilled tradespeople and office support alongside Clint, Jake and Jared, and a supplier and subcontractor network we genuinely rely on rather than whoever’s free that week. What hasn’t changed is that the people who show up on your job are the same people whose name is on the van, and whose reputation is on the line. You can meet the whole team below.

Today that covers four areas of work: extensions, kitchen and bathroom renovations, commercial refurbishment and fit-out, and facilities maintenance for commercial property. Different scopes, but the same team and the same standard across all of them.
