Carpentry & joinery

Alongside kitchens, bathrooms and extensions, we take on carpentry and joinery work in its own right, fitted wardrobes, staircases, internal doors, skirting and architrave, and bespoke storage built to fit an awkward space rather than off-the-shelf dimensions.

What's included

How we approach it

Fitted wardrobes and storage

Built to fit alcoves, sloped ceilings and other awkward spaces that flat-pack furniture doesn't handle well.

Staircases and balustrades

New staircases for loft conversions, or replacing an existing balustrade, built to current building regulations for rise, going and handrail height.

Skirting, architrave and internal doors

Often the last job on a renovation, and one that makes the biggest difference to how finished a room feels.

Questions

Frequently asked questions

Can you build storage into an awkward loft or eaves space?+

Yes, this is one of the most common carpentry jobs we do, particularly after a loft conversion where sloped ceilings leave dead space that fitted units can make use of.

Do you build staircases as part of a loft conversion?+

Yes, the staircase is built to meet building regulations for rise, going and head height, and designed to fit the space without taking a disproportionate bite out of the room below.

Can you take on a carpentry job on its own, without a wider renovation?+

Yes, we take on standalone carpentry work, from a single fitted wardrobe to a full run of skirting and doors through a house.
